#GoodFriday. From a Christian's perspective, today is a solemn occasion, as the betrayal, crucifixion and death of Christ are at the forefront of our minds, right? So, what's good about it, you ask? Christ endured it all for the good of mankind, for me and for you. Let us reflect with gratitude. The best is yet to come.

Through the partaking of the Lord's Supper, we are reminded of Christ's sacrifice for all of mankind. Through the shedding of blood, there is remission of sins. His body endured agony for our transgressions. As we drink of the fruit of the vine and have a morsel of bread, we do so in remembrance of our Savior. Let us give thanks.

God inhabits the praises of His people. And scripture tells us to praise God, to give thanks, no matter our circumstances! Yes, we are facing uncertain times and adversities, but God is bigger than our problems. Let our praises drown out the voices of doubt and distress. He is worthy of our praise. And He is able to see us through.

Today is Palm Sunday. We are reminded of how Christ was welcomed by the people. Some of those who announced His coming were among those who urged his crucifixion, however. Following His death and resurrection, He promised He will come again. Let us rejoice as did the faithful on that first Palm Sunday. The Lord is coming!
