The Way of the Lord

The contrasts between the ways of the righteous and the wicked are discussed in Pslams 1.  The Lord sees all and he knows the way of the righteous.  Like the old spiritual song, let us be like the tree planted by the waters, rooted firmly in our faith in Jesus Christ, seeking His will in all that we do.

Ezra's Example

Ezra and the people believed that God would come through for them.  They entrusted everything to God.  They withheld nothing from the Lord, and were blessed in return.  May we follow Ezra and the people's example.

Children's Message - No Fear

Steadfast in the Faith

Let's face it.  We've all been discouraged or felt overwhelmed by the circumstances around us.  It's not a question of 'Will adversities come?' but rather 'In whom will we place our trust, no matter what?'  In this message, Pastor Tim talks about remaining steadfast in our faith.  Let us always look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

The World Couldn't Contain the Books

We read of many miracles performed by Christ throughout His ministry, but scriptures remind us of the great things He did that were so numerous the world "could not contain the books that could be written."  We might not ever know the extent of His earthly ministry, but we can certainly testify to what He has done for us.  Go and tell.

When You Do It Unto Me

Pastor Tim reminds us that when we reach out in obedience to make a difference in the lives of others, we do it unto Christ.

Children's Message - What Are You Planting?

Don't you just love planting seeds and watching something grow that is beautiful or even delicious to eat?  In today's message, Pastor Tim shares with the youngsters how they can sow seeds of love and kindness, too.

Answering the Call

Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice to atone for the sins of all mankind.  However, we are not to view salvation as a "get-out-of-hell card" and live a life of apathy and unconcern.  He has a plan for each and every one of us, as well as plan for the Church, not just Poplar Springs Baptist Church, but the body of believers at large.  Will we live by faith and answer His call?
