Don't Give Up, Don't Quit

Jeremiah had been anointed as God's servant.  And God continued to confirm His calling upon Jeremiah.  In spite of being mocked by the people and preaching a message that convicted some and angered others, Jeremiah persevered.  He didn't give up!  He declared, "The Lord is with me."  He didn't quit, further declaring, "My enemies shall not prosper."  Jeremiah remained faithful to his calling, setting an example for us as we seek to serve the Lord.

Nothing Takes God by Surprise

We've heard all the cliches.  We've probably even started to include them in our conversations.  Things like "in these uncertain times" or "the new normal," but let us cling to the hope that God is still God.  Trials and tribulations are nothing new, and COVID-19 did not take Him by surprise.  He has seen us through before, and we can depend on Him to continue to do so.

The Church at Work

Peter and John encountered a man who had existed solely because of the kindness of others, but Peter and John lacked the financial resources or the medical ability to deliver the man from his circumstances.  Instead, they offered him Jesus.  We, as the Body of Christ, are able to share something with others that can't be bought or sold.  Let us stay focused on our calling and make a difference for the Cause of Christ.

Waiting on God

Being patient is not always easy in the face of adversity, but we find in Psalm 62 how David waited on God amid his own circumstances.  God will always respond on time.  Let us be patient as we wait.  Let us focus on His promises.  And let us learn more about the Lord and His love for us as He brings us through.

Mother's Day Message - Attributes of a Godly Woman

Mothers are special to us all.  We all know the benefits of a loving, nurturing mother, but today's message talks about what scripture has to say about a virtuous, godly woman.  Let us celebrate Mom today and learn by her godly example.

What God Cares About

God longs to dwell with His people.  He expressed this desire to His people as described in Zechariah.  He has the same longing today.  His Holy Spirit give us discernment, comfort, joy and hope.  Let us share with others how much God loves them.

The Things We Take for Granted

The disciples enjoyed a close fellowship with Christ, and they were grief stricken upon his death.  However, they were afforded the opportunity to reconnect with Jesus and become encouraged and emboldened in their mission to serve Him as He would instruct through the Great Commission.  Perhaps we take our relationship with Christ for granted sometimes.  Let us worship and serve Him as enthusiastically as we did when we first met Him.

What Was So Special About the Early Church?

The early Church, as discussed in Acts 4, moved forward as One, and they had all things in common.  They worked together to accomplish the Will of the Father.  We have been given the opportunity to make a difference for the Kingdom when we are unified and work together tirelessly and selflessly.  Let us move forward together as One today.

Seeking Revival

In light of recent events, have you found yourself closer to God?  Have you seen others turn back to Him?  It seems many are more spiritually-minded these days.  Some are asking questions.  What a wonderful time for believers to recommit themselves to the cause of Christ!  What a wonderful time for a revival!  Let us pray that God uses this time to draw us all unto Him.  We need revival!
