We all know the familiar story of how the Magi brought gifts to Jesus, following His birth.  Their choices of gifts had significance, and they desired to honor the Promised One.  Now more than ever, in a world that needs to experience the love of Christ, it is essential that we as Christians honor our Heavenly Father by giving our all for Christ so that we might reach others for Him.  Let us always give Him our very best.  Our contributions to His kingdom are not insignificant.

The True Story of Christmas

Christmas is a wonderful time of year.  While the season can be so commercialized in our society, it is always important to pause and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.  Remember, Jesus is the reason for the season!

Jesus Can Meet Your Every Need

Today, Pastor Tim's message serves as a reminder that God can meet our every need.  Christ is sufficient to provide our salvation, to bring revival and a spiritual awakening among both individuals and nations, to help us serve in capacities that can glorify God and to provide satisfaction to our hearts.  Call out to him today for your every need.

Signs of a Hard Heart

The scriptures are filled with examples of individuals and groups of people who erred in their ways.  In every case, they either failed to listen to God, blatantly disobeyed Him, made excuses for sinful behavior, focused too much attention on worldly things, would not worship God, or were guilty of a combination of these.  We must examine our own lives from time to time and make sure that our hearts have not hardened.  The Lord desires for us to grow and to be useful for His Glory.  A hardened heart will deter growth and service to God every time.

Let Your Light Shine

In today's message, Pastor Tim begins in Matthew 5, exploring how Christians are to 'let their light shine'.  Nothing should be present to tarnish or dim our light.  God desires to use our light to point others to Him.  This podcast reveals some hindrances that can keep us from letting our light shine.  May we always be steadfast and willing to let the light of Jesus shine through us.

Unanswered Prayer

In 2 Corinthians 12, Paul talked about his 'thorn in the side', something he prayed for God to take away.  God did not answer his prayer the way he had hoped, but the Lord promised Paul that His grace was sufficient to sustain him.  In today's podcast, Pastor Tim explores five reasons why God might not answer our prayers the way we wish, but His answer will be the best.

Responsibilities Toward God's Truth

Taking Them to Jesus

In Mark 2, we read of a man who needed a touch from Jesus, and his friends were determined to assist him.  As we all know, the men did get him to Jesus, and he was miraculously healed.  Faith does wondrous things, doesn't it?  In our day and time, we are aware of both physical and spiritual needs all around.  Let us pray for others.  Let us reach out to others so that we might lead them to Jesus. 

The Lord's Day

Returning to Revelation, Pastor Tim explores three key points regarding the Lord's Day, Sunday.  John sought the Lord, and we read that the Lord was equally interested in sharing something with John.  The Lord's Day is a day of celebration:  a day to celebrate Christ's resurrection from the tomb, a day to give the Lord praise and a day to celebrate our deliverance.  Indeed, when we have surrendered our hearts and lives to Christ, we have much to celebrate.  Let our worship reflect this enthusiasm and gratitude.
